Pollution at Rabindra Sarobar Lake
A series of images documenting Pollution at Rabindra Sarobar Lake, Kolkata. With the use of digital color manipulation techniques, I attempt to change the visual of the pollution at the lake I documented- something monochromatic, verifiably ugly and abhorrent- into something that transcended its natural form and became visually pleasing, intriguing and attractive- at least at first sight. After being drawn into viewing the images, one seems to find them somewhat strange and disturbing, but they just can't look away…
